Griffin Cole’s childhood was far from ideal. I loved this character. He was broken but overcame it even though his anger still remained a part of his emotional scars. During this time, he was accepted as an unofficial member of the Atwood family.
Anya Atwood is smart, beautiful, and as the only sister in the family, she is determined to prove herself to her older brother Callum in allowing her to be the “party planner” for his and Griffin’s brewery/restaurant.
There are several key things that I truly love about this story.
- Even though he had a rough childhood, Griffin puts others above himself.
- Anya is not afraid to fight for what she wants both personally and professionally.
- Family is very important. The Atwood’s are a close knit family. And that idea of family also extends to friends.
