First I want to say I love the Protection Series. Secondly, Mine to Shield is Kennedy L. Mitchell at her finest. This book is the most intense book in the series.
Killian Cooper is a damaged protective FBI agent who will stop at nothing to protect the only woman he has ever loved. Being forced to walk away from her led him down an emotional rabbit hole that he was never able to free himself from.
Millie Anderson is a young college professor who focuses her teaching on the psychology of cults and the impact on their followers (victims). She’s beautiful, smart, and focused. Like Killian, Millie longed for the one person who held her heart even though he shattered it when he left without a trace.
Killian and Millie’s worlds collide when she is asked to share her knowledge of cult life in order to find a missing person. Full of suspense, raw emotions, dander, and steam, Mine To Shield has everything you want in a second chance, enemies-to-lovers romance.
