I have been reading books by Lisa Renee Jones for years. She never disappoints. Even though most of her books are romances, she also writes incredible thrillers as her alter ego L.R. Jones. The Wedding Party is no exception. An extravagant bachelor/bachelorette party weekend takes place at the infamous Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.
FBI Agent Andrea (Andi) Castle is beautiful, smart, and a workaholic. When a murder occurs at a weekend long bachelor/bachelorette party that she is attending, and nothing is what it seems.
Carrie Reynolds has met the man of her dreams. An ER nurse by profession, she has a beautiful and caring personality that seems too perfect.
Oliver Phoenix and his family are the definition of wealth. He is a loving and caring man that wants to protect the heart of his fiancΓ©, especially after he learns a secret from her past.
The characters I’ve mentioned above are the three main characters but there are other characters that play a vital role in The Wedding Party. From the guests to law enforcement, each additional character brings their own personality which helps create plenty of plot twists that will keep the reader engaged and second guessing who did the crime.
I highly recommend The Wedding Party. It’s fast paced, engaging, and full of suspense. The plot and characters are well written and truly bring the story to life. A definite must read.
