“I can be demanding, Allie.”
My mind flashes to the night of our fight back in Nashville, when my hands had been pressed to the front door of our apartment, his hand on my throat, him behind me, thrusting into me. “I know,” I whisper, my skin flushing with the memory and because it’s the truth, now I dare add, “I like it.”
“Do you?” he challenges.
“Beyond reason,” I whisper.
His fingers flex on my neck, seconds ticking by before he replies with, “I used to think I wanted to scare you off, Allie.”
“And now?”
“Now, I pray I can’t.” His teeth scrape my shoulder, rasping roughly.

If you have read and enjoyed Lisa’s Inside Out Serious, you will enjoy The Necklace Trilogy. When I Say Yes wraps up the Necklace Trilogy. Allie and Dash continue to search for clues in the whereabouts of Allison. Throughout their journey, Allie and Dash have to overcome the demons from their pasts. Friendships that were strained are once again in better standing.
Throughout the series, Allie is determined to find Allison, the rightful owner of a necklace she accidentally received. This journey to find the truth leads her into the path of love and danger and everything in between. She maintains her fighting spirit in the mist of uncertainty.
From the start, Dash has always been a protector with a dark side. There is so much pain that causes his demos run deep. Allie is his weakness that he tries to push away.
There is also a mix of new and familiar characters that maintains a steamy and suspenseful plot line. For me it’s the blend of the new characters with the familiar ones that keep me wanting more. Lisa does a phenomenal job of combining different worlds from her vast array of works. The Necklace Trilogy is no exception. A little Inside Out Series, mixed with a tad of Walker Security, and a dash of Lilah Love.
I couldn’t get enough of Allie and Dash. As stated in the beginning of this review, the Necklace Trilogy is reminiscent of the Inside Out Series. The damaged souls, unconditional love, and suspense fill the pages while dragging you in a whole new world. I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
