He shoots, he scores and he’s met his match. The captain of the Vlasta University Hockey team has fallen for the coach’s niece and she is a sassy Dominican who speaks her mind. This was an amazing read. Full of emotions, that a bit more emotional than I expected, sassiness, and a love that conquers all.
After dealing with a family loss, Nyeena, comes to live with her uncle who is the coach for the Vlasta University hockey team. Not only being new to the area, she has a medical condition. She doesn’t let that stop her. Full of sass and an independent spirit, Nyeena falls head over heals for the team’s captain.
Patrick, comes from a family where he is never good enough. He lives and breathes hockey, just to be told he can do better. His coach, his teammates know he is the best and is a natural born leader of his team. But he remains to be full of self doubt. From the day he met Nyeena, he knew his life was changed forever.
The relationship between Nyeena and Patrick is an endearing one. Full of raw emotions mixed with an unbreakable bond that makes for a truly captivating love story. Taming Of The Crew has everything you want in a sports romance. A sassy heroine, a hero who will stop at nothing to protect the woman he loves, and a team of supporting characters that add to the depth of the story. It’s a great addition to The Hockey Gods Series. Each book in the series is a stand-alone and can be read on their own, but I recommend reading them since the series follows the team and references are made about the other teammates.
