Dirty Filthy Fix is a novella that combines characters from the Fixed Trilogy and the Dirty Duet. This centers around Nathan Sinclair  the Creative Directer at Reach, from the Dirty Duet, and Patricia “Trish”  assistant to Hudson Pierce, from the Fixed Trilogy.

   Trish is not the ordinary woman. Even growing up she never liked the idea if relationships, marriage, and children. She decided at an early age it was not for her. She liked her freedom. The idea of being “tied down” to one person was not appealing to her. She liked to play. She liked to attend parties with the Open Door. The Open Door is an exclusive sex party group. These parties were the highlight of her Saturday nights. Then she meets Nathan Sinclair at one of these parties.
   Nathan Sinclair is a forever bachelor. He spent time traveling and doesn’t want to be tied down. But at the age of 45 he realizes he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life alone. He also likes kinky sex so he attends an Open Door party. This one Saturday night changes his life.

    Even though Trish like Nathan “Nate” she is unwilling to confirm to the norms of society. She does break some of her own rules because she can’t help herself. Her attraction to Nate is too strong. She has always taken pride in the fact that she does not mix business with pleasure. That’s until Nate is a client of her boss Hudson Pierce. She is so destructed she’s frustrated with herself. Nate will do anything to have her in his life even after she makes it perfectly clear that she is not the ordinary woman. 

   I really enjoyed this book. Trish’s unconventional way of living wavers some but not enough to change who she is. She’s a fierce independent woman who know what she wants and doesn’t want in life. Nate is also somewhat untraditional in his way of life. He understands where Trish is coming from and acknowledges he doesn’t want to change her.
