Claiming Nina by Leslie Johnson

Leslie Johnson has done it again. Nina’s father is a Russian mob boss in Chicago. In order to pay a debt to a fellow mob boss he forces Nina to marry him. With the help of a good friend, Nina is on the run after leaving her engagement party. Nina finds herself in St.Simons, a quiet small town. There she meets Adam, a former Chicago lawyer. She continues to hide her past from him, not knowing if she can trust him. Leslie has done a great job of developing both Nina and Adam. Both have a past that has changed who they are. I recommend Claiming Nina if you like stories where at least one of the main characters has past secrets.
